Merger Announcement | Open Letter from GradusOne Founders

November 6, 2017

Today, we’d like to share some big news. We are excited to announce that GradusOne has merged with League of Innovators (LOI), to amplify reach and impact related to youth innovation and education. To learn more about the merge and read the official press release, visit www.theleagueofinnovators.com.

Three years ago, we embarked on a journey to achieve a mission we all deeply cared about– educating and empowering youth to take ownership of their careers and have access to fundamental skill-building opportunities.  Through all the ups and downs of building a non-profit and the evolving nature of career development, we’ve learned one definite thing through our experience—this is just the beginning.

With League of Innovators focused on mobilizing the next generation of youth entrepreneurs and leaders across Canada, we see this as the perfect opportunity to expand our reach and create a larger and more meaningful impact together. We’re accepting change with open arms and are thrilled about the opportunities that lie in front of us.

The founding team of GradusOne will be moving over to League of Innovators with Manny Padda joining the Board of Directors, Sam Thiara as an Advisor and Manisha Narula as the Director of Education.

We would like to take this moment to thank you, for believing in us and allowing us to feel inspired and motivated to continue making change everyday.

Our advisors, thank you for your expertise, honest feedback and for selflessly lending a hand in any project and situation. You have been amazing listeners and supporters through this overwhelming yet exciting process.

Our speakers, facilitators and mentors, thank you for dedicating your evenings to us at our events and programs. You always showed up as your authentic selves, openly shared your personal experiences, and provided practical advice. We appreciate the real talk.

Our volunteers, thank you for all the time you put into creating quality events and programs, building partnerships and making sure everything aesthetically looked good! You all brought in great energy and we couldn’t have asked for better ambassadors and leaders to represent GradusOne.

Our partners, thank you for believing in our cause and being open to starting conversations and collaborating. Whether it was funding, space, promotional support, resources, etc., we’ve always felt fortunate to be part of a such a supportive network.

Our attendees and participants, thank you for being at the core of why we started GradusOne and being patient with us as we continued to experiment. You helped us improve and find new and innovative ways to support youth. Thank you for seeing this as a worthy investment and we can’t wait to see where life takes you.

Our community of supporters and cheerleaders, thank you for attending our events, following our channels, liking our posts, giving us new ideas, passionately sharing your views about career education—all because you knew this was needed.

Today, we’re filled with gratitude. This process has been nothing short of amazing and it’s all thanks to you. We look forward to continue working together and building these relationships further. Stay tuned and be sure to follow us on our new adventure.

Our kindest regards,

Manny Padda, Sam Thiara and Manisha Narula
